To Sparkle Punch...

October 2015 budget

JessComment

GUYS. I DID IT. For the first time in history, I stayed UNDER BUDGET!! Cue the ticker tape parade. I feel so accomplished, so disciplined, so much like Fran! ...and ultimately so broke because all of my money is flying away to bills and therapy. Having no money certainly helps to curtail shopping! *insert crying while laughing emoji* Anyway, here are the things I did pick up in October:

image.jpg
  1. Jersey Circle Skirt (Old Navy): $20 on sale for $8
  2. Crepe Pleated Skirt (Old Navy): $30 on sale for $8
  3. Jersey Leggings (Old Navy): $25 on sale for $13
  4. Tonymoly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar (Amazon): $7
  5. Too Cool for School Dinoplatz Lip Balm (Sephora): $16
  6. Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream (Amazon): $10

Not pictured:

  1. Old Navy Handkerchief-Hem Open-Front Cardigan (can't find online so possibly sold out?): $26 on sale for $16
  2. Tonymoly Panda's Dream Eye Patch (eBay): $3
  3. Tonymoly Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream (eBay): $10
  4. Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask (Amazon): $19
  5. Banila Clean It Zero (Amazon): $16

TOTAL: $126 ($44 under budget!!!)

Favorite item: I love all of the Old Navy pieces! I've already worn the leggings at least three times (including here), and you might remember the pleated skirt from this post! Meanwhile, I now own two of the (super comfy) jersey circle skirts, in blue and white (seen here, with my Elton John tee!) and now purple! #purpleisaneutral

Least favorite item: Ok, do I need more lip products? No, surely not. But besides being obsessed with them, I'm also a lip biter, so anything that keeps my lips moisturized once the product wears off is a dream come true. The Dinoplatz lip balm seemed awesome when I tried it out at Sephora, plus it smells like gummy bears, gives a nice wash of color (despite how bright it seems!), and its packaging is freaking adorable. But it hasn't worked as well now that I own it, naturally. *sigh* The Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask has been disappointing so far too. It goes on great and smells delightfully fruity but hasn't really produced any changes. Double womp. (The jury is still out on most of the Korean beauty products, though, that one included. Stay tuned!)
